    Job Summary:

    The System Analyst reports to the Manager of Managed Care and assists with all aspects of the fee-for-service environment related to contract modeling, contract loading and contract performance review. Additionally, the position will collaborate with all departments of the revenue chain to ensure revenues optimization for the health system.

    Essential Functions:
    • Assists with loading of payers contracts into our contracting system.
    • Identify trends, research, and bring forth issues with analysis
    • Strong ability to accurately interpret the payers contracts
    • Evaluate payor performance relating to denials, contract compliance, and retrospective reviews.
    • Collaborates with the Corporate Managed Care to provide support relating to contract interpretation, denial reviews, and payment variances.
    • Research changes relating to managed care payor policies
    • Serves as a resource across the organization assisting with reimbursement inquiries, contractual rate grids, and various ad hoc requests.
    • Provides weekly Payment Variance analysis creates an submits payer projects as needed
    • Strong ability in recognizing a contracting system issue and taking the appropriate steps to correct
    • Assist with Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting
    Job Requirements:
    • 5 years' experience relating to healthcare reimbursement
    • Experience solving difficult problems relating to reimbursement, contract modeling and revenue cycle functions.
    • Experience working with complex and sophisticated managed care accounts.
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to manipulate large data sets into meaningful information.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables.
    • Must possess strong interpersonal and email communication skills.
