Manages multiple sales teams spanning an assigned geographic area. Focus on building and developing high performing teams that will consist of multiple area sales managers. Directs, coaches and leads the execution of the Mortgage strategies and sales process to drive mortgage loan production and revenue for the assigned geographic region.
Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directs activities of the Mortgage Area Sales Managers including recruiting, coaching, origination, and referral development.
Active and visible community and industry involvement to broaden and leverage relationship networks, referral sources and continually deepen knowledge of trends and changes that affect the industry.
Participate in joint calling and recruiting efforts with Area Sales Managers.
Develop short and long term business plans for teams that are in accordance with Bancorp policies and procedures.
Coach staff to develop internal and external referral sources, including real estate agents, builders, financial planners/CPAs, attorneys and other sources along with cross selling and referring Bank products and services.
Ensure sales effectiveness results are achieved and appropriate coaching/action is taking place.
Develop and maintain strong partnership will Fulfillment to ensure outstanding efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Focus on activities and promotion strategies to attract new purchase business.
Partners with Retail Executives, Small Business Regional Managers, Investment Regional Managers to drive One Bank sales results in affiliate geographies.
Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback, developing employees to their fullest potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth, developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning. and recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
BA required or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.
Minimum 5 years sales management experience in a mortgage environment.
Basic computer skills.
Innovative thinker and supports change throughout the division.
Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
