  • Job Overview

    This role contributes to Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) success by maximizing business growth of the Dr Pepper trademark primarily along with any additional KDP brands aligned to the bottlers within the assigned territory. This individual is responsible for driving the strategic & tactical elements of our Joint Business Plan (JBP), working with bottler sales centers, Division/Area Sales Managers, and Sales Operations teams to ensure execution of our brand initiatives. Additional duties include conducting daily sales calls to stores, building relationships with our bottling partners, improving distribution across our system aligned brands, and securing incremental display and cold space in their markets. This role works in the CASO (Coke Affiliated Sales Organization) Route to Market System within KDP and reports to the Division Sales Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure execution on Dr Pepper/KDP Trademark promotions, solicit placement of incremental marketing assets (POS/equipment), displays, racks, etc. with sufficient product inventory in conjunction with bottler personnel

    • Survey the market weekly to inspect what is expected and identify opportunities for Dr Pepper brand or package growth

    • Develop Dr Pepper initiatives to drive sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation and customer service on behalf of the CASO/KDP organization

    • Utilize point-of-sale material to stimulate sales

    • Grow Share of Visual Inventory (SOVI) increasing shelf facings and display space

    • Provide excellent service to CASO Bottler & Retail customers to create and maintain goodwill

    • Coordinate all Merchandising of product sections and displays to stimulate sales

    • Complete required paperwork, data collection, and processes in an accurate and timely manner

    • Maintain a report of call activity, actions, follow-ups and results

    • Conduct product knowledge sessions with bottlers to ensure they can talk about the benefits of our products

    • Conduct quarterly territory reviews using point of sales (POS) data, to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats

    • Execute Sampling initiatives aligned to Dr Pepper initiatives

    Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or comparable field of study

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable position

    • Prior sales and merchandising or retail customer service experience

    Competencies:

    • Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Margin Minder knowledge is a plus

    • Technology savvy

    • Customer service oriented

    • Strong analytical and negotiation abilities

    • Dynamic and self-motivated

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills

    • Result oriented

    • Excellent time management and priority setting

    • Must own a reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, with clean drivers abstract

    • Territory may require up to 60% travel within bottler territory, inclusive of some overnight stays as needed

    • Capacity to work in a fast-paced changing environment
