Summary

Senior Java Developer on a software engineering team that build and enhance Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to support cybersecurity initiatives for the company.

Responsibilities include

• Interface with engineering leads to define requirements, deliverables, and provide the necessary engineering expertise & support to ensure delivery.

• Partner with cybersecurity architects and lines of business architects to drive the strategic IAM architecture

• Able to prototype new technologies and work with vendors to implement new capabilities/enhancements

• Work with the team or as an individual contributor to perform analysis, design, development and testing of solutions to meet requirements.

• Work in a consulting role with line of business technology partners to provide subject matter expertise as needed for various projects

• Work under minimal supervision and be able to self-manage workload to ensure delivery of solutions.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or a related field with 8-10 years of experience in Information Technology

• 8-10 years of experience in building and integrating large enterprise Java applications.

• Strong skills in design and developing RESTful API and Micro Service. Proficiency in Spring/SpringBoot.

• Extensive knowledge and experience working with SQL, Stored Procedures, and Oracle DB data replication and performance tuning.

• Working experience in remediating application security vulnerabilities, CVEs.

• Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies including, OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, FIDO/WebAuthn, PKI, and LDAP.

• Experience in building solutions using cloud-based services. Familiarity with cloud security.

• Exposure with React UI development

• Skilled in using CI/CD toolset such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, SOAPUI, Postman, etc.

• Proficiency in development in Unix/Linux environment

• Ability to coordinate and support large & complex projects including product upgrades and deployment of new capabilities and enhancements.

• Experience in delivering full-life cycle projects

• Strong analytical skills to solve problems, perform research and derive solution opportunities

• Strong written and oral communications skill

• Experience in Agile development methodologies

Desired Skills

• Experience in secure programming practices

• Experience in IAM platforms, such as Ping One, DaVinci, Ping Federate, Ping Access, Okta, ForgeRock

• Knowledge in security protocols, cryptography, and HSM

• Working knowledge of digital credentials and digital wallet
