Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide care at a Federal Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

Your daily responsibilities may include

• Conducting patient assessments

• Educating patients about their surgery and recovery

• Preparing anesthetic for patients

• Administering medication

• Monitoring a patient's vitals and adjusting anesthesia levels during surgery

• Overseeing the patient's safety as they recover from anesthesia

• Working with other medical staff to develop pain management plans

Qualifications Include

• Strong patient assessment skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in oral communication, written communication, interpersonal relations, customer service, adaptability, and change management

• Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing PC applications

• Valid state RN License (must meet education requirement(s) for state licensure)

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)

• Certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association

• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
