    About the role

    As a CBRE Designer, you will perform a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard design techniques for small and large projects. Exercises independent judgment in evaluating electing and applying standard design techniques and procedures.

    This job is part of the Design function. They are responsible for preparing and producing proposals and planning applications for internal and external partners

    What you'll do

    • Identify the client's goals, objectives, and quality expectations.

    • Maintain communication and positive relationships with the client, consultants, and team members.

    • Assist with the oversight of the documentation, construction, programming, and contract administration phases.

    • Interprets contracted scope of work.

    • Selects, designs and/or specifies furnishings, artwork, accessories and plans.

    • Renders design ideas in form of drawings or illustrations and develop design concepts.

    • Develop proposals, schedules, and fees with internal teams.

    • Assembles presentations and "leave behinds" when pursuing new projects with oversight from Project Lead.

    • Responsible for CADD set-up/review of set-up of project.

    • Track financial performance and preparation of consultant agreements.

    • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

    • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

    • Impact the quality of own work.

    • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

    What you'll need

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 5 years of proven experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    • AutoCAD drawing experience is required.

    • CAFM software experience is preferred.

    • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.

    • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
