    Job Overview:

    Support construction efforts onsite & offsite by providing progress reporting, quality control inspections, support of the HSE program, technical problem solving associated with construction activities, schedule management, development of technical basis for change orders resulting from changed conditions or added scope, etc.

    This is a Temporary position.

    Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

    • Daily work tasks will be a combination of field work and office work

    • Visit the project construction sites

    • Review construction drawings, project schedules, project administrative and execution plans (Accident Prevention Plan, Quality Control Plan, Construction Work Plan, Environmental Protection Plan, etc.) and read project specifications.

    • Shadow Construction Managers (CMs), Quality Control Manager (QCMs) and Site Safety Health Officers (SSHOs) to learn daily job functions, responsibilities, and reporting (Contractor's Production Report, Daily Quality Control Plan, Job Safety Analysis, Activity Hazard Analysis, Confined Space Entry, Project HSE Inspections)

    • Document Control and electronic filing, Requests for Information (RFIs), schedule updates, data entry, quantity estimates and rough order of magnitude pricing, change management (RFPs and MODs), material receipt and delivery and attending various office and Team's meetings, etc.

    • Other duties may be required

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Must have good oral and written communications skills

    • Must have 0-2 years of experience

    • Must have completed their Junior year in college or are a continuing Grad students

    • Must have experience with MS Office software

    • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills

    • Must be a self-starter, excel in time management, and work well under pressure

    • Must be available to work in various settings such as in office or remotely, depending on needs.

    Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1+ years of experience in Construction, Engineering, or Engagement in student industry organization or activity

    • FE and EIT obtained or in progress

    • Previous work experience in any field

    The targeted salary for this position is $20-22/hr.
