Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- State Correctional Facility

Pay: $35-$38/hr

Shift: Day, Evening, and Night

Job Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting with various medical procedures. Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team

• Assist with patient assessments and document findings accurately

• Provide direct patient care, including wound care, specimen collection processing, and assistance with activities of daily living

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Educate patients and their families on healthcare topics, including medication management and disease prevention

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (eClinicalWorks)

• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in the state of

• BLS Certification

• Experience in patient care, preferably in memory care or assisted living settings

• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and basic pharmacology

• Familiarity with ophthalmology procedures and dermal fillers is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
