Data Entry Clerk

Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk in St Paul, Minnesota. The role primarily involves recording donor payments, generating consistent reports, and sending acknowledgement letters to donors. The successful candidate will be skilled in data entry, customer service, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record payments from donors into the system without error

• Generate consistent weekly reports such as tracking donations over $1000

• Handle ad hoc reports as required, displaying a thorough understanding of the system

• Dispatch acknowledgement letters to donors who contributed in the prior week

• Perform calculations as necessary for data entry and reporting

• Maintain organized files for easy access and reference

• Utilize email correspondence effectively to communicate with donors and team members

• Employ Microsoft Excel and Word to facilitate efficient data entry and report generation

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry, ensuring that all information is correctly entered into the system

• Handle any scanning and typing tasks as required for the role

Requirements

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Demonstrated ability in data entry

• Effective communication skills for email correspondence

• Strong organizational abilities, particularly with files

• Ability to perform calculations with accuracy

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Strong time management skills to ensure deadlines are met

• High level of confidentiality and integrity

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
