Electrical Assembler Job Description

Statement of the Job; Employee performed highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting work involved with electrical system. Electrical work may be performed in a number of areas of the car shell/train. Work involves technical application of electrical principles.

Duties of Job:

1. Installs, services and repairs lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets and wiring.

2. Must have vast knowledge with electrical component plug assemblies.

3. Installs, repairs and services specialized electrical equipment and machinery.

4. Reads electrical circuit diagrams and blueprints.

5. Transfers primary power from one power source to another.

6. Installs conductors, splices cables, builds terminations and does necessary hook-up for primary power source.

7. May do other trades work incidental to electrical work.

8. Capable of process improvement.

9. Collaborate with management any issues that may arise with project.
