    Drives vendor and stakeholder relationships, leads overall contracting, monitor and reports on performance for enterprise. Contributes to developing and executing procurement strategies and policies that helps the organization obtain necessary products and services while minimizing costs. Develops criteria to be used during vendor evaluation and selection. Sets goals and identifies metrics measuring performance of purchasing processes. Negotiates complex or high-value vendor contracts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Contributes to strategic planning & goal setting for the function. Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

    • Lead and manage the procurement team, overseeing all aspects of the procurement process, including requisition processing, vendor selection, purchase order management, and supplier evaluation.

    • Monitor and control procurement budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost-effective procurement practices.

    • Work with other departments to ensure that procurement decisions are made in the best interests of the organization.

    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a continuous supply of goods and services.

    • Monitor and report on procurement performance to ensure that the organization is meeting its procurement goals.

    • Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes, systems, and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    • Source and negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain the best possible terms and conditions.

    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to make informed procurement decisions and drive innovation.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.

    • 10+ years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record of success.

    • Strong understanding of the procurement process and the ability to negotiate effectively.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
