    We are looking for a diligent Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Norwalk, Connecticut. In this role, you will be expected to maintain comprehensive financial records and reports, ensuring timely recording of all transactions, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. This role requires on-site presence and will provide you with an opportunity to contribute to a global leader in the manufacturing industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Document daily financial transactions and maintain meticulous records

    • Generate comprehensive reports and financial statements

    • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

    • Oversee bank and general ledger reconciliations, as well as payroll entries

    • Monitor fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules

    • Handle quarterly tax filings and execute month-end closings

    • Compile trial balances and contribute to job estimate evaluations for pricing purposes

    • Efficiently manage projects and actively engage in meetings

    • Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites for day-to-day operations

    • Perform various accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

    • Handle billing functions and demonstrate proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and Microsoft Excel.

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

    • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary

    • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook is required

    • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

    • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Capable of performing Bank Reconciliations

    • Experience with Billing Functions is a must

    • The candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of full charge bookkeeping

    • The ability to work independently and manage various projects with differing priorities

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • High level of organizational skills and detail-oriented focus is crucial.
