    JOB SUMMARY

    The Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They also gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Additionally, the Financial Analyst performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and the impact of governmental requirements.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Report and analyze booking and sales, actuals, trends, and historical data

    • Provide financial analysis to influence and evaluate gross margin by product line in support of annual strategic plan goals and initiatives

    • Assist with monthly management financial presentations

    • Function as the finance business partner with assigned product group

    • Provide timely, accurate, and consistent analysis and management reporting to evaluate financial performance in support of strategic goals and initiatives

    • Collaborate with Operations to identify, understand, and minimize manufacturing variances associated with assigned product group

    • Support assigned product group's sales team by providing pricing/costing scenarios/models to be used in management decisions of customer proposal pricing

    • Participate in and support the period-end financial close (monthly/quarterly/annually)

    • Assist with preparing financial presentation decks

    • Function as the as the subject matter expert of the associated P&L for assigned product group

    • Develop the budgeting process for assigned product group

    • Support assigned product group's development engineering team by tracking financial performance of development programs, including if applicable, any 606 Revenue Recognition implications

    • Develop standard work and look at continuous improvement projects

    • Perform other (Ad hoc) duties as assigned

    This position requires knowledge of SOX / 404 internal audit controls and related documentation.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/Experience:

    • Requires a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience

    • Experience working with SOX / 404 internal audit controls and related documentation

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.

    • An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check. Applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.

    Base salary range is $79,293 - $118,940 per year. Several job-related and non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience in comparable roles, skill sets, training, education, licensure or certifications, other qualifications, market conditions and business needs influence actual salary offered.
