Job Contract Opportunity in Honolulu: Financial Reporting Analyst Needed ($64/hour, 3-Month Contract)

• Position Status: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

• Projected Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, on-site

• Pay Rate: $64/hr

• Expected Assignment Duration: 3-month temporary role (possibility of conversion to permanent)

• Location: Central Pacific Plaza, 220 South King St

• Parking is not provided.

• Key Responsibilities:

• • Prepare and analyze external financial and regulatory reports (e.g., Call Report, FR-2644, FR-Y9C, FR-Y9LP) for regulatory bodies such as FDIC, FRB, DFI, and SEC. Compile institutional data, complete financial reports, and respond to surveys from federal and state agencies. Aid in the preparation of financial reports for management.
• • Execute day-to-day general accounting and financial reporting tasks, including month-end close processes for CPF, CPB, and related entities. Generate accounting entries, maintain records, conduct monthly closing accrual calculations, produce consolidated and standalone financial statements, and analyze financial outcomes to ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
• • Continuously assess and implement processes to streamline and automate tasks for increased efficiency.
• • Support software conversions and implementation efforts. Contribute to special projects aligned with the company's strategic objectives to enhance performance and shareholder value.
• • Assist with quarterly reviews, annual financial statement audits, benefit plan audits, and periodic examinations by auditors and regulators. Prepare and maintain proper documentation and internal procedures.
• • Conduct variance analysis, reconcile accounts, and aid in resolving accounting issues.

• Minimum Requirements:

• • Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• • At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting/accounting.
