Financial Reporting Manager

Description This Financial Reporting Manager position open through Robert Half might be right for you, if you're a self-starter who combines a real passion for analytics with great social skills. The Financial Reporting Manager is based out of Houston, Texas and is a long-term contract / temporary position. Highly-skilled candidates will be interested in this position, if they are looking to join a dynamic and fast-growing team as a Financial Reporting Manager.

Major responsibilities

• Track and monitor actuals vs. budget/forecast results

• Drive improvements in financial reporting and analysis as well as requisite system requirements

• Prepare break-even and investment return analysis

• Take on special projects and deliver ad hoc analytical support when necessary

• Contribute to the annual operating plan, the monthly forecast, the monthly reporting and analysis, and the business planning process. Deliver and explain variance analysis

• Cooperate with internal business partners to prepare, implement, and comply with management reporting & analysis requirements Requirements - Experience with ERP systems

• Extensive finance and accounting knowledge, including detailed understanding of financial auditing

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative/analytical disciplines

• Expertise in Workiva

• Proficiency in SEC Reporting

• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Related experience

• Experience with higher level functionality in Microsoft Excel
