Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in the Senior Living industry, based in Burien, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, working closely with other employees and dealing directly with the owners of the company. This position requires a high level of organization and detail-orientation, and the ability to work in a professional, business casual environment.

Responsibilities include

• Processing invoices and preparing month-end payments

• Performing state and federal reporting on payroll

• Collecting rent and creating rent rolls

• Reconciling checks and bank deposits

• Compiling financial data quarterly

• Handling tenant billing for utilities

• Preparing and managing taxes and profit & loss statements

• Managing monthly distributions for family members

• Using accounting software systems, including QuickBooks, for all bookkeeping tasks

• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel and Outlook, for various accounting functions

• Handling accounts payable and receivable, as well as bank reconciliations and billing functions. Requirements - Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites

• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook

• Experience in diverse Accounting Functions

• Understanding and previous handling of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Knowledge of Profit and loss statements

• Experience in Payroll management
