Industrial Maintenance Technician

Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician (Industrial Union) | Dover, OH | 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) | $27.74/hour +$2 shift diff

Description:

• Mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery and equipment (Extrusion machines, compounding machines, plumbing, piping, boilers, refrigeration)

• Electrical troubleshooting of PLC's (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Seamen's)

• Working with 480v, single and three phase power.

• Working with up to 700hp AC/DC motors.

• Troubleshooting and repair of pumps, valves, and motors.

• Replace and repair photo eyes, proxy switches, sensors, and rollers.

• Plumbing.

• Preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility.

• Will have journal/preventative maintenance list- responsible for performing PM's.

• Assists with Special installations and projects

• Understands drawings and schematics

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES

• Must have previous Electrical Maintenance experience with 480v and 3 phase

• Must have Schematic and Blueprint Reading

• Must have Pneumatic and hydraulics experience

• Must Have experience with motors

• Must be a Self Starter who has good attention to detail and is motivated.

• Must be comfortable with older equipment as it is not all top of the line automated machinery

NICE to HAVE

• HVAC / Refrigeration experience

• EPA 608 Cert is great

• At least 2-3 years of industrial electrical experience. (480v, single & three phase power, AC/DC motors)

• Experience with mechanical maintenance (Most important, easier to train someone on electrical)

• Experience troubleshooting PLC's- If not as strong, willing to send to school.

• Experience working with modern and older equipment- Snyder has mix of both.

• Must have own tools- If not, Snyder will pay for them and deduct it out of their pay over 12 months.

• Willing to meet with candidates who have choppy work history if they have a reason. Manager said to never disqualify someone, everyone deserves a chance.
