  • Our client, one of the reputed Consumer Packaging Company is seeking an Process Engineer to join their team. This is a 6-month contract role (with possible extension) for an R&D Process Engineer working on a new manufacturing facility project at a pilot plant.

    Job Title: Process Engineer

    Location: Trumbull, CT - Hybrid role requiring 3-4 days on-site per week.

    Pay Range: $33/hr.- $ 40/hr.

    What's the Job?

    • Assist in designing a new manufacturing facility, including risk assessments and planning.

    • Collaborate with various teams to meet project deadlines.

    • Conduct studies in the pilot plant to improve efficiency and quality.

    • Analyze data and raw materials to optimize processes.

    • Develop procedures for handling new materials and products.

    • Translate product requirements into technical drawings and instructions.

    • Ensure equipment and processes work together smoothly.

    • Help select equipment and suppliers.

    • Lead pilot plant trials and document learnings.

    • Identify and manage safety and hygiene risks.

    • Create and issue technical documents for transferring knowledge to Supply Chain.

    What's Needed?

    • Bachelor's Degree.

    • Background in project management is preferred.

    • Senior students looking for project experience.
