    We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Design Build Superintendent who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running not just on time but within budget. As part of the design-build team, you'll work with the best professionals in the business and report to the Construction Manager or Design-Build Manager on project sites. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living.

    You will have the chance to work on a large water and wastewater design-build projects. These exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects will utilize your construction supervision and focus to help ensure safe and efficient delivery in the field. Your role will be to assist in coordinating and managing subcontractors throughout construction, commissioning, closeout, and turnover to the owner. Following the project scope, schedules and budgets, you will ensure the construction remains on task.

    Here's Also What You'll Do:

    • Work with Design-Build Manager and Construction Manager to ensure implementation of the safety and quality programs.

    • Manage and supervise subcontract and material resources in relation to construction / installation.

    • Ensure quality levels are met at trades levels.

    • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the field activities of the project as assigned.

    • Assist in coordination between design engineers, project engineers, and subcontractors to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications.

    • Assist in managing and updating the overall project schedule including 3-week lookahead schedules.

    • Document construction activities using approved procedures.

    • Monitor and report on project progress.

    • Understand the contractual requirements, scope of work for Jacobs' and individual subcontractors, and participate in administration of subcontracts and purchase orders.

    • Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities.

    • Participate in risk management and mitigation throughout the life of the project.

    • Proactively participate in resolving potential problems, work interferences, and schedules conflicts/setbacks.

    • Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly.

    Here's what you'll need :

    • At least 10 years of foreman, superintendent, or construction management experience in construction and administration of industrial, water, or wastewater projects.

    • Understanding of project scope, engineering drawings and specifications, and construction materials.

    • Working knowledge of construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building.

    The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance and agility demands, which may include the ability to climb, stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery that includes high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, some defined confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals as you would come to expect in the water and wastewater design build industry.

    The base salary range for this position is $140,900 to $220,200. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ?
