Senior Cloud Security Product Manager

We're looking for a Senior Cloud Security Product Manager to join our team. Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC) is a cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) designed to protect cloud-based applications running in all major cloud providers and DevOps environments. MDC code-to-cloud offerings span both cloud security posture management (CSPM) to surface and prevent breaches and cloud workload protection platforms (CWPP) to identify, alert and block real-time cyber-attacks worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Define new product capabilities and features that meet business requirements and customer needs.?

• Make on-going tradeoff decisions for backlog prioritization in partnership with engineering team

• Interact with customers to validate hypothesis and get feedback on our product strategy and roadmap?

• Contribute to overall product strategy by being aware of cutting-edge industry standards, best practices, regulatory landscapes, and breakthroughs in cloud security offerings??

• For owned feature areas, grow an active community of users, customers, partners with a focus on driving business insights and action.

• Actively drive the usage and adoption of owned feature areas

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

• OR equivalent experience.

• 4+ years' experience with product management for enterprise cloud-based services.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:?Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

• OR equivalent experience.

• Written and oral communication

• Understanding customer needs, and driving customer high satisfaction and engagement

• Ability to prioritize features and plan across inputs from customers, business, and others

• Ability to collaborate across teams and organizations

• Ability to problem solve

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
