Our client, the leader in the SaaS Identity space has an outstanding Software Engineer, Services opportunity to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote role.

The successful candidate will work on adding confidence in validating change for an existing product. This product is a mature Express service which does not have the test coverage we require in order to enable continuous integration and so manual validations need to be done before releasing changes. The work here will be around adding automated validations in the form of unit tests, integration tests and functional tests. There is work also around sending additional metrics in production. This role does not involve feature development but will require a thorough understanding of the features supported by this service. The team will be available to help understand the product but the successful candidate should be able to work independently.

Contract Duration: 5-Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of direct relevant experience in:

• Software development using ~~~ (JavaScript or Typescript) or similar language.

• Working on systems that are highly-reliable, maintainable and scalable.

• Tend to deliver work incrementally to get feedback and iterate over solutions.

• Bring the right attitude to the team: ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

• Are comfortable working on a fully-distributed team.

• Familiarity with good engineering practices and testing.

• Design and develop new automated tests leveraging existing infrastructure and tooling.

• Improve monitoring, observability & alerting for backend services Ensuring that security is always considered first to protect customer data.
