  • Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a skilled Sr. Accountant to join our team in Federal Way, Washington. This role is centered around the efficient handling of account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management in the telecom industry. This is a contract employment opportunity that will allow you to utilize your skills in Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and more.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness

    • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, identifying any discrepancies and resolving them promptly

    • Handle bank reconciliations, verifying transactions and maintaining accurate records

    • Manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date

    • Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining a thorough record of all transactions

    • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation

    • Use NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting activities

    • Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete. Requirements - Demonstrated experience in senior accounting roles.

    • Proficient in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.

    • Experience with general ledger management and journal entries.

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

    • Experience in month end close procedures.

    • Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software.

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    • Professional accounting certification such as CPA is a plus.

    • Knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory standards.

    • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

    • Experience with financial statement preparation and review.
