Recruiters have also found the Internet to be much more cost-effective than conventional hiring methods. Most career sites charge about $100/per job posting that will be seen immediately by millions of job seekers all over the world. How can that even compare to local newspaper advertising that is more expensive and seen by only a small group of candidates? Recruiters also save money in administrative tasks like filing resumes and manually opening & sorting mailed resumes.

In summary, the Internet has become a revolutionary new tool for recruiters around the world. It costs less and provides better results than conventional recruiting methods. It promotes more efficient and effective communication between recruiters and candidates. The web has become the recruiting tool of the future.
